Using Pupil Flags on SixIntoSeven

Pupil flags on SixIntoSeven allow primary schools to highlight any pupils where a face to face or telephone conversation would be of value to share more information on pastoral topics.

Adding a Pupil Flag (for Primary Schools)

Primary schools may add a flag to the pupil record to indicate a further conversation with the secondary school would be beneficial.

Scroll through your pupil list and click the tick box to the left of the pupil name to add a flag.

The flag will then appear next to the pupil’s name on the destination secondary’s dashboard to let them know that you would like to discuss this pupil with them further.

Topics that could be raised by a flag include:

  • Interests, passions or talents (e.g Dance, Art, Drama, Nature, Football, Hockey)
  • Attendance issues
  • Behaviour issues
  • Wellbeing or family concerns

Click “Save” to save your work, and “Publish” when you are ready to share the list of flagged pupils with your connected secondary schools.

To publish your list of flagged pupils and share the data with your connected secondary schools you must review the disclaimer and then click “Publish” to share the data or “Close” to go back.

Please note: once pupil flags are published you will need to contact our support team to unpublish (if necessary).
